Woodstove Exchange Program

New woodburning appliances can reduce emissions by up to 87% when compared to pre-1994 appliances! The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) administers the woodstove exchange program in conjunction with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.  Residents of North Cowichan are eligable to recieve up to $350 when exchanging an old woodburning appliance for a new one.
