North Cowichan's Municipal Forestry program annually donates three logging truck loads of firewood to non-profit groups supporting youth in the Cowichan and Chemainus Valley. The youth-oriented groups are to be based in the Cowichan and Chemainus areas with the majority of their membership coming from North Cowichan. A maximum of three awards will be made annually.
