Outdoor Fitness Parks

Officially opened on July 23rd, 2009, the Outdoor Fitness Park is home to over a dozen pieces of fitness equipment specifically designed for the outdoors! Click here for the overview of our Outdoor Fitness Park.

You will also find another Outdoor Fitness park located in Chemainus. This is in Chemainus Elementary School Yard. You may access this equipment after 3pm and before 8am.

 

GET UP, GET OUT, GET FIT

 

The entire concept behind the offering of this fitness equipment park is simply to make exercising accessible.

There are no memberships, passwords, special cards, admission prices, or extra requirements. There are no weights to adjust, no extra training, no special tricks to make things work well.

All it takes is showing up, reading the instructions on each of the pieces of equipment and give it a try. If you would like an orientation to the equipment, please call 250-746-3306 and we can set this up for you.
