Budget Challenges facing North Cowichan

As it prepares its 2012 - 2016 Financial Plan, North Cowichan Council faces many challenges. Council invites members of the public to attend the next budget meeting scheduled for January 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Municipal Hall.

Wood Heat Workshops

Learn tips and techniques on how to get the most from your wood heating system and ask about the CVRD's Regional Woodstove Exchange Program offering a $300 cash rebate and a $50* retailer discount beginning March 1, 2011.  Everybody is welcome to attend the workshops being held on February 15, 16 and 17.  Click here for more information on times and locations.

Woodstove Changeout Program

Starting March 1, 2011, the Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) will offer a woodstove rebate program for all CVRD communities, including North Cowichan.  For further information, please visit the CVRD's website or call 250-746-2530.
