Beaumont Watermain Replacement
Work for the Beaumont Watermain Project is set to begin.
- Construction dates: October 16, 2023 to January 8, 2024
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm
- Roads: Beaumont Avenue, between Arbutus Avenue and Redcap Street
- Contractor: Municipality of North Cowichan
What to expect:
Traffic control personnel and signage will be in place during construction. Traffic will be limited to single-lane alternating through the work zone and may cause minor delays. Impacted residents and businesses will be advised of planned water outages. Construction may limit on-street parking and cause periodic driveway closures throughout the project area.

The project consists of the replacement of approximately 400m of pipe, which is beyond its useful lifespan.
