Effective May 1, 2023, Stage 1 watering restrictions are in effect for all of North Cowichan.
Please note: as of September 7, 2022, Council has updated North Cowichan's Waterworks Bylaw. This means changes have been made to current watering restrictions, for updated information please visit the Water Conservation Measures & FAQ page.
STAGE 1 WATER CONSERVATION MEASURES ARE IN EFFECT EACH YEAR FROM MAY 1 THROUGH OCTOBER 31*
(*If the Municipality requires further restrictions, Stage 2, Stage 3 or Stage 4 Water Use Restrictions may apply.)
Please check the News section of the Municipality's website for Public Notices that are issued to advise when any stage of Water Conservation Measures is in effect and refer to the Water Conservation Measures Chart & FAQ for detailed information on Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4 water restrictions.
