Online Banking

Your taxes, utility bills, business licences and dog licences are payable online through most banks, trust companies and credit unions in Canada. Check with your bank for details.

Tax Payments

Your account number is your folio number, but without the dash (e.g. if your folio number is 12345-678, use 12345678). Use "North Cowichan Taxes" as the payee. If you choose to use this service to pay your property taxes, please note that the Home Owner Grant application must still be signed and submitted to the Municipal Hall or claimed online before the due date.

Utility bills

Your account number will be printed on your invoice as a 6-digit number, which you can find at the top, middle part of the invoice. Use "North Cowichan Water" as the payee.

Business licences

Your account number will be printed on your invoice as a 5-digit number, which you can find at the top, right hand corner of the invoice. Use "North Cowichan A/R" as the payee.

Dog licences

Your account number will be printed on your invoice as a 6-digit number, which you can find at the top, middle part of the invoice. Use "North Cowichan A/R" as the payee.
