COWICHAN AQUATIC CENTRE & FULLER LAKE ARENA

The Cowichan Aquatic Centre and Fuller Lake Arena are now open for the fall season. Both facilities are operating drop-in schedules, and pre-registration for drop-in programs and activities is no longer required. 

Fall program and scheduling details below!

 

All Cowichan Aquatic Centre features are NOW OPEN, including:

  • Waterslides
  • Waves and spray features
  • Sauna
  • Steam room

 

COVID UPDATE - September 13, 2021

British Columbia’s new vaccine passport is now in place, with a requirement to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to participate in certain discretionary activities. The table below outlines details on what activities at Cowichan Aquatic Centre and Fuller Lake Arena require proof of vaccination. 

 

Everyone aged 5 and over attending an indoor public facility is required to wear a mask and follow regular COVID-19 protocols such as social distancing and hand hygiene.

 

Update Sept 16, 2021: please note the age for "Gym use, exercise activities" in the table below has changed from age 22 to age 12.


Update Sept 28, 2021: clarification has been added around spectators at indoor youth activities. Additionally, proof of vaccination, when required, must be either the digital card (on your phone) or the printed version from the Province's website. Cards from the pharmacy are no longer accepted.

 

Update Oct 13, 2021: the minimum age for wearing a mask when attending an indoor public facility changed from age 9 and older to age 5 and over.

  1. Online: at www.RecCowichan.ca - register for any class or program at North Cowichan, Ladysmith, or CVRD facilities through this single website!

  2. By phone:
    1. Cowichan Aquatic Centre: (250) 746-7665 
    2. Fuller Lake Arena: (250) 246-3811

  3. In person: pre-registration for programs is encouraged to reserve your spot, but no longer required. Drop-ins are permitted at all facilities, given there is space/room for you to attend the session. Stop by the Fuller Lake Arena or Cowichan Aquatic Centre for more details.
