Catalyst emergency preparedness test
October 17, 2013On Friday, October 18th, between 10:00 and 11:00 AM, the Catalyst Mill at Crofton will be conducting a test of their emergency preparedness plans and will be testing their Emergency Evacuation Alarm.
Residents of Crofton are advised that the alarm is being sounded as a test only. Management at the mill have further advised that the Evacuation Alarm sounds similar to that of a BC Ferries ship's whistle and will last 5 mins in duration.
The Crofton Fire Department has been contacted and have been alerted to the alarm test.
