North Cowichan Announces Interim Chief Administrative Officer

(May 19, North Cowichan, BC) North Cowichan Council is pleased to announce that Andy Laidlaw has been appointed as the Municipalitys Interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective immediately.
We are fortunate to have found such a highly-qualified candidate to lead our staff while we continue the search for a permanent Chief Administrative Officer, said Mayor Jon Lefebure. Mr. Laidlaw will work with staff on Councils strategic priorities and day-to-day operations at the Municipality.
Mr. Laidlaw comes with over 37 years of local government management experience, most recently as the City Manager of Campbell River and the Interim Chief Administrative Officer with the District of Saanich. He holds a diploma in Public Service Management from the University of Victoria, as well as a diploma in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Recreation Education.
