Stage 2 water restrictions are now in effect for all North Cowichan water systems
Stage 3 Water Conservation Measures go into effect Friday, August 24

The Province has increased the drought rating to Level 4 (extremely dry) for East Vancouver Island. In response, water conservation measures will increase to Stage 3 across North Cowichan effective Friday, August 24, 2018.
Under Stage 3 restrictions, sprinkling is not permitted and maximum reduction of water use is recommended. Additional details regarding Stage 3 restrictions can be found here: www.northcowichan.ca/water
*Please note: North Cowichan operates three separate water systems. The Chemainus water system was placed on Stage 3 restrictions on August 6. All municipal water users are now on Stage 3 restrictions until further notice.
