Multi-Use Trail & Truck Pullout Along TCH Now Complete
May 1, 2020
Construction of the multi-use trail and new truck pullout, located on east boulevard between 5883 Trans Canada Hwy (McDonald’s Restaurant) and the 2000-block of Beverly Street (Beverly St/TCH Intersection), is now complete.
The pullout will accommodate short-term parking for commercial trucks and vehicles pulling trailers wanting to access services in the area. Also, a newly painted cross walk has been installed across the Somenos Station Mini Mall access road next to Tim Horton’s restaurant. The paved shared trail offers greater connectivity in the area and a concrete roadside barrier has been built between the trail and the highway to offer greater protection for pedestrians and cyclists.
We thank the community for their patience during this construction and are pleased to announce that the multi-use trail and truck pullout are ready for public use!
