North Cowichan Resumes Accepting and Processing Building, Subdivision, and Development Applications

(North Cowichan, BC) – In the face of the COVID-19 crisis, North Cowichan has been working to resume services in safe, cautious way that complies with orders from senior levels of government and the Provincial Health Officer. While Municipal Hall, and other Municipal facilities remain closed to the public, we are still open for business.
Effective Thursday, April 9, we will be accepting and processing completed applications for building permits, subdivisions, and land development. Applications for building permits may be submitted by mail, left in the drop-box at the lower entrance to the Municipal Hall between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm on regular business days, or submitted electronically. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please be aware that application processing times may be delayed due to increased safe work practices to protect staff and the public.
