Municipal Forestry Gates Reopening

Mount Prevost, Mount Sicker, and Grace Road forestry gates reopened on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, and will remain open until further notice. Forestry gates on Maple Mountain, Mount Tzouhalem, and Mount Richards are closed year-round.

The Municipal Forest Reserve is open for non-motorized recreational use, such as hiking, horse-back riding, and mountain biking. E-bikes are permitted on the recreation trail network if they are 100% pedal assist (no throttle on the e-bike) and have a maximum assist speed of 32km/h.

Overnight camping, campfires, and fireworks are not permitted in the Municipal Forest Reserve at any time.
