PUBLIC NOTICE: 2021-2025 Financial Plan Amendment Bylaw No 3855
Notice is given that District of North Cowichan Council will consider 2021-2025 Financial Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 3855, 2021 at the January 19, 2022 regular council meeting. A draft of the proposed bylaw is available for public inspection at the Municipal Hall front counter at 7030 Trans-Canada Highway, Duncan, during regular office hours, or by requesting an electronic copy by emailing finance@northcowichan.ca.
The public are invited to submit comments on the 2021-2025 Financial Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 3855, 2021 to the Corporate Officer legislativeservices@northcowichan.ca, in writing on or before 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. All correspondence submitted will form part of the public record and may be published in a meeting agenda.
The meeting will be conducted by video conference using the Cisco Webex platform. This meeting, though electronic, is open to the public. Anyone wishing to participate in the meeting may do so electronically by joining the meeting using a computer, smartphone or tablet. The Municipal Hall, located at 7030 Trans-Canada Highway, Duncan, will be made available for members of the public to observe the meeting. Due to COVID-19, participants attending the Municipal Hall to observe the meeting will be required to wear a mask at all times and maintain appropriate social distancing of at least 6 feet. We ask the public, if possible, to participate electronically from the comfort and safety of their home to protect you, municipal staff, and our community as part of our collective effort to hold the line against this dangerous virus.
