Water restrictions downgraded to Stage 1

Due to the cooler weather patterns and recent rainfall, the provincial drought level for Eastern Vancouver Island was lowered to Level 2.
As a result, effective Friday, September 24, 2021, water conservation measures have been downgraded to Stage 1 for all water systems in North Cowichan. Stage 1 remains in effect every year until October 31. Full details on Stage 1 water restrictions can be viewed here.
