Voter turnout in the 2022 local general election was 32.04%, with 8,546 people casting ballots. The final determination of election results, including new registrations received at each polling location, was made official by the Chief Election Officer on October 18, 2022.

The Regional Recreation Funding assent voting question (referendum) passed after votes were tabulated from across the Cowichan Valley Regional District (final results to be confirmed October 19). Results for school trustee will be announced by School District 79.
