Work in BC Hydro’s Transmission Right of Way
Mount Tzouhalem (northeast area)

BC Hydro will be removing decommissioned transmission infrastructure in the northeast area of Mount Tzouhalem adjacent to Genoa Bay Road and Stoney Hill Forest Reserve.

• When: Tuesday, November 1 to Friday, November 18.
• Working hours: Weekdays (excluding holidays) between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Large equipment and helicopters will be used to complete this work. Trail users on connector 3S, AGT Connector 2, Shore Pine Connector, Loam Pine, and Awesome Trail can expect intermittent trail closures of up to 20 minutes for the duration of the work. Vehicle traffic along Genoa Bay Road, near Bird’s Eye Cove Farm, can expect intermittent road closures of up to 5 minutes for the duration of the work. 

For crew and public safety, please follow the direction of flaggers.
