October 17, 2022: Fireworks are banned in the Coastal Fire Service area as part of current restrictions. North Cowichan will NOT be processing any Fireworks Permit applications until this restriction is rescinded, likely after significant rainfall has been received. A reminder that buying and selling of fireworks is prohibited at all times, and a permit is required to possess or discharge fireworks.
