North Cowichan is recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Friday, September 30.
All municipal facilities, including Cowichan Aquatic Centre, will be closed Sept. 30.
Flags at all municipal facilities will be at half-mast in honour of the survivors of the residential school system, and to remember those who didn't make it home.
