Notice of Mail Ballot Voting in 2022 General Local Election

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the District of North Cowichan will include Mail Ballot Voting as part of the 2022 General Local Election. Qualified electors within the North Cowichan municipal boundaries can register to vote and cast a ballot by mail.
Eligible voters must apply to receive a Mail Ballot in advance of voting. The deadline to make application for Mail Ballot Voting is 12 p.m. October 14, 2022.
All Mail Ballots must be returned to the Chief Election Officer at the North Cowichan Municipal Hall no later than 8:00 p.m. on October 15, 2022 to be counted. Postmarks will not be accepted. Mail Ballots received after this deadline will not be counted.
