PUBLIC NOTICE: Permissive Tax Exemption Amendment Bylaw No. 3877, 2022

Notice is given that District of North Cowichan Council will consider adoption of Permissive Tax Exemption Amendment Bylaw No. 3877, 2022 at the October 4, 2022 regular council meeting.  A draft of the proposed bylaw is available for public inspection at the Municipal Hall front counter at 7030 Trans-Canada Highway, Duncan, during regular office hours, or by requesting an electronic copy by emailing finance@northcowichan.ca.

The public are invited to submit comments on the Permissive Tax Exemption Amendment Bylaw No. 3877, 2022 to the Corporate Officer legislativeservices@northcowichan.ca, in writing on or before 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 4, 2022.  All correspondence submitted will form part of the public record and may be published in a meeting agenda. 

The meeting will be conducted by video conference using the Cisco Webex platform.  This meeting, though electronic, is open to the public. Anyone wishing to participate in the meeting may do so electronically by joining the meeting using a computer, smartphone or tablet. The Municipal Hall, located at 7030 Trans-Canada Highway, Duncan, will be made available for members of the public to observe the meeting. Anyone wishing to participate in the meeting, during the 'Public Input' and 'Question Period' portions of the agenda, may do so by attending Municipal Hall [7030 Trans-Canada Highway] in person, or by joining the meeting electronically.
