Attending a Virtual Meeting

You can attend Council meetings and have your say during the Public Input and Question Period portion of the agenda in-person or electronically.

We encourage you to join by computer desktop or mobile device (smartphone or tablet) to view the meeting, but you may also join by telephone to hear the meeting. You will have an opportunity to participate by voice in either case.

If you are unable to connect by computer, smartphone or tablet, you can also call in by telephone to hear and participate in the meeting.

  1. Dial the toll-free number: 1-844-426-4405
  2. Choose your preferred language (press 1 for English)
  3. When prompted for access code/meeting number, enter the Meeting Number listed in the Upcoming Meetings section at the top of this page
  4. For the Attendee ID number, press 1111
  5. You will not hear anything until the meeting starts - there is no hold music
  6. You will be automatically muted upon entry into the meeting
  7. Press *3 to raise your hand if you would like to speak during Public Input or Question Period
  8. When it is your turn to speak, you will hear the meeting coordinator state that the next caller is a telephone caller, followed by the system saying "You are unmuted"
