We believe the access to plentiful outdoor spaces helps develop a community that is engaged, happy, and healthy. That’s why we work to provide well-maintained, clean, and safe parks and trails for you to enjoy.
North Cowichan is home to 71 diverse municipal parks and more than 5,300 hectares of non-parkland within the Municipal Forest Reserve. Our mountain trails offer a world-class mix of flow, downhill, gravel, and cross-country trails for mountain biking, equestrian and hiking.
The 2017 Parks and Trails Master Plan (PDF) guides the resourcing, development, management, provision and expansion of out parks and trails over the next 15 years.
