NOTICE IS GIVEN that Council will be reconsidering amendments to Business Licence Bylaw No. 3153, 2022, through the adoption of Business Licence Amendment Bylaw No. 4058, 2026 at their regular meeting being held on May 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. This meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format, in person in Council Chambers and electronically through the Cisco Webex platform.
The amendments in general propose to include consideration for neighbours, good neighbour agreements, and licence suspension and cancellation provisions.

Anyone who believes they are affected by the amendments will be provided an opportunity to provide their feedback to Council during the Public Input portion of the meeting or they may submit their comments in writing to publicmeetings@northcowichan.ca or by dropping them off or mailing them to the Municipality of North Cowichan. The deadline for written submissions is 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
This notice is given as required by Section 59 and 137 of the Local Government Act.
