| DESCRIPTION: | Construction includes extensive utility, road, and trail improvements along Canada Avenue between Sherman Road and Beverly Street within both North Cowichan and the City of Duncan boundaries. During the first stage of construction:
As work advances, traffic patterns may change to single lane alternating traffic, as needed, with signage and traffic control persons in place. Additional road work notices will be issued when traffic control measures substantially change. Expect traffic delays and afford yourself extra travel time through the work zone. While most work will take place during regular working hours, some work may need to extend into the evening until 8:00 pm or on a Saturday, as set out in the North Cowichan's Noise Bylaw.
