Mays Road

DATE:March 3 to 28, 2025 (weather permitting)
HOURS OF WORK:7:30am – 5:00pm (subject to weather and field conditions)
LOCATION:7575 Mays Road (see map below)
DESCRIPTION:Utilities Crews will be extending sections of water main along Mays Road. Appropriate signage and traffic control persons will be in place as required. Expect Delays. Please allow extra travel time through this area.

 

Bell McKinnon Road

DATE:March 13, 2025 to May 1, 2025
HOURS OF WORK:24 hour closure – (local traffic only)
LOCATION:Bell McKinnon Road, north of Norcross Road to North of Fairfield Street
DESCRIPTION:

Crews have shifted their location for the sanitary sewer construction on Bell McKinnon Road. Bell McKinnon residents within the work zone are to enter/exit via the south closure, near Norcross Road. Fairfield Street residents are to enter/exit via Ortona Road. Please note that there will be no thru-access at the closure north of Fairfield Street. See map attached.

  • Bell McKinnon Road – access is limited to local residents, emergency vehicles, school buses, and transit;
  • Fairfield Street residents will access through Ortona Road.
  • Mays Road and Norcross Road – These routes are for local traffic only; no heavy trucks are permitted.

Signage and traffic control personnel will be on site. Expect delays and give yourself extra time in this area. 

Bell McKinnon Road

DATE:January 2025 – May 2025
HOURS OF WORK:7:30am – 5:00pm (subject to weather and field conditions)
LOCATION:Bell McKinnon Rd between Norcross Road and Herd Road (see map below)
DESCRIPTION:

Herd Road, between the Trans-Canada Highway and Bell McKinnon Road, will reopen on Monday, November 25 before the following work begins.

Bell McKinnon Road will undergo phased closures in 100 metre sections, progressing northward from Norcross Road towards Herd Road for the installation of underground utilities.

Access within the closed section on Bell McKinnon will be limited to local residents, emergency vehicles, school buses, and transit only.

Mays Road and Norcross Road are local traffic only routes, and no heavy trucks.

Signage and traffic control persons will be in place. Expect delays, and give yourself extra time to travel in this area.
