North Cowichan and the City of Duncan are beginning work on a new Safer Community Plan that will outline recommended actions to address public disorder.

People and businesses most impacted by public disorder related to homelessness, addictions, or mental health in the corridor area are invited to attend a special facilitated dialogue with housing, health care, and public safety experts.

A Safer Community Dialogue

  • Thursday, June 20, 6-7:30pm, Quamichan Middle School

Space is limited and a ticket is required.  Visit Eventbrite to reserve your free ticket.

The event will be recorded for people who are unable to attend. A survey is also available.

Input heard will help inform a new Safer Community Plan. A draft plan will be presented to North Cowichan and Duncan councils later this summer.
