MAY 14, 2026 UPDATE
The survey period is being extended to end of day on May 19, 2026. Forum Research will be continuing to random dial people in North Cowichan to participate in the statistically valid survey. Calls will come from a 250 area code phone number and the operator will ask if you are a resident of North Cowichan, your postal code, if you or a member of your family is an employee or member of council, and if you are at least 18 years of age. If you meet the criteria you will have the option to take the survey over the phone (about 15 minutes) or through a unique link to an online survey.
The open link survey (non-statisically valid) will also remain open through May 19.
North Cowichan is launching its third Citizen Satisfaction Survey and we would like to invite residents to share their feedback!
Through telephone interviews conducted by Forum Research Inc., randomly selected residents will be asked for their input on a variety of topics such as satisfaction with the services provided by the municipality, quality of life, and value for taxes. The survey will run from May 4 to May 15.
North Cowichan would also like to provide the opportunity for all residents to share their feedback through the online version of the survey, which is open for input until May 15, 2026. Visit connectnorthcowichan.ca/citizen-survey to complete the online survey.
The results of the 2026 Citizen Satisfaction Survey will be compared against the baseline 2019 and 2022 surveys, and Council and staff will use this information to identify improvements and determine strategic and budget priorities.
Results will be made available in July 2026.
All information collected through the survey will remain confidential, your individual responses will not be shared, and will be provided in an aggregate form only.
