NOTICE IS GIVEN that Council will be conducting a Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. on July 19, 2023 to provide all persons who believe that they are affected by Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3910, an opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions to Council. This bylaw proposes to reclassify 8025 Berridge Street and adjacent roads (Dyke Road and a portion of Berridge Street) from Residential Rural Zone (R1) to Public Use Zone (PU) to allow for the development of a Childcare Centre on the subject properties.
This Public Hearing will be conducted in-person in Council Chambers and by video conference using the Cisco Webex platform. The Public Hearing Information Package will be made available at least one week prior to the hearing at the Municipal Hall and published to the Public Hearings webpage. Anyone wishing to submit their comments in writing on the proposed bylaw in advance of the Public Hearing can email them to publicmeetings@northcowichan.ca or drop them off/mail to the Municipal Hall by 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2023.
This notice is given as required by Section 466 of the Local Government Act.
