NOTICE IS GIVEN that Council will be conducting a Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. on July 17, 2024 to provide all persons who believe that they are affected by Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 3914, 2023 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 3915, 2023, an opportunity to be heard or to present written submissions to Council. Bylaw 3914 proposes to redesignate 1771 Robert Street from Rural Residential to Residential Neighborhood and Bylaw 3915 proposes to allow for residential development on 1771 Robert Street
This Public Hearing will be conducted in-person in Council Chambers and by video conference using the Cisco Webex platform. The Public Hearing Information Package will be made available at least one week prior to the hearing at the Municipal Hall and published to the Public Hearings webpage. Anyone wishing to submit their comments in writing on the proposed bylaws in advance of the Public Hearing can email them to publicmeetings@northcowichan.ca or drop them off/mail to the Municipal Hall.
This notice is given as required by Section 466 of the Local Government Act.
