NOTICE IS GIVEN pursuant to section 59 of the Community Charter that Council will be considering Inter-Community Business Licence Bylaw No. 4075, 2026 at their regular meeting being held on August 19, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. This meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format, in person in Council Chambers and electronically through the Cisco Webex platform.
The bylaw proposes replacing the current Inter-Community Business Licence Bylaw No. 3525, and establish a scheme for inter-community licensing, regulating trades, occupations and businesses.

Anyone who believes they are affected by the bylaw will be provided an opportunity to provide their feedback during the meeting or they may submit their comments in writing to legislativeservices@northcowichan.ca or by dropping them off or mailing them to the Municipality of North Cowichan. The deadline for written submissions is 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
