Due to poor water quality, swimming at Kin Beach in Chemainus is not recommended. Island Health conducts regular water sample testing at public beaches and pools, and once tests indicate water quality is within acceptable levels, the advisory will be lifted.
Signs advising that swimming is not recommended will be up while the advisory is in place, and will be removed once water quality tests indicate the water quality is within acceptable limits.
