NOTICE IS GIVEN that a special meeting of Council for the District of North Cowichan will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Municipal Hall (7030 Trans-Canada Highway, Duncan, B.C.) in Council Chambers to consider the following matters:
- Request to connect 1986 Tzouhalem Road to the sanitary collection system
- Development variance permit request for Lot 23, Scott Road to vary setback from 6m to 1.5m on the west property boundary
- Official Community Plan projects and implementation schedule
- Two separate matters closed to the public under section 90(1)(e) of the Community Charter which deal with land acquisition and land disposition.
This meeting will flow right into the regular Council meeting scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. However, should this meeting continue past 5:00 p.m., the regular meeting will commence upon adjournment of this meeting.
This meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format, in person in Council Chambers and electronically through the Cisco Webex platform.
