NOTICE IS GIVEN that a Special Council meeting for North Cowichan will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
The Special Open meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. to consider the following matter:
- to appoint the Municipality's external auditor for the 2026 through 2030 fiscal years
The Special Closed meeting will be held immediately following the Special Open meeting to consider two matters that are closed to the public in accordance with the following sections of the Community Charter:
- 90(2)(b)(i) Intergovernmental negotiations
- 90(1)(c) Labour Relations
The Special Open meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format, in person in Council Chambers at Municipal Hall (7030 Trans-Canada Highway, North Cowichan, B.C.) and electronically through the Cisco Webex platform. Visit www.northcowichan.ca/meetings for instructions on how to connect online.
The Special Closed meeting will be held in the Large Committee Room, Municipal Hall (7030 Trans-Canada Highway, North Cowichan, B.C.).
This notice is given as required by Section 127 of the Community Charter and in accordance with section 5.4 of the Council Procedure Bylaw No. 3945.
