Public Notice
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the District of North Cowichan will be hosting an Open House followed by a Special Committee of the Whole Meeting on February 24, 2026, at Municipal Hall [7030 Trans‑Canada Highway, North Cowichan, BC]. The times and locations are as follows:
- Open House: 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Large Committee Room
- Special Committee of the Whole Meeting: 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers and virtually using the Webex platform.
- The purpose of this meeting is to receive input and comments on the budget from the public who attend in person, or electronically.
- Please visit northcowichan.ca/virtualmeeting for instructions on how you can connect to this meeting.
- There is no sign up required to speak during this Public Input session. The Mayor will call for input from the floor. If you are participating virtually, you’ll need to raise your hand; if you are participating in person, you’ll approach the podium.
This notice is given as required by Section 127 of the Community Charter and in accordance with section 5.4 of the Council and Committee Procedure Bylaw No. 3945.
