  • Phase 2: Cowichan Lake Road between Skinner Road and Kimberley Drive
Timeframe

March 16 - May 4, 2026

Budget

$600,000

Project led by

North Cowichan

Description
  • Phase 1: North Cowichan utilities crews are installing 60 metres of new water main along Skinner Road, replacing the aging 150mm AC (asbestos-cement) main.
  • Phase 2: Along Cowichan Lake Road, two existing water mains are currently in service - the 150mm AC main has reached the end of its service life. This project will abandon the existing 150mm AC main and transfer all water services to the existing 250mm PVC main, improving system reliability and reducing future maintenance needs.
