Project: Kinsman Beach Park washroom facility

$312,500 through Tourism Dependent Community Fund
The new washroom facility replaces an older cinder block building and includes hot water, electricity, and accessibility features and will be open year-round. fully accessible washroom stalls.
As part of the washroom construction, several other park improvements were completed including an outdoor shower, planting of new trees, a covered picnic shelter, as well as general landscaping and parking area improvements.
The Rotary Club of Chemainus provided funding for the outdoor shower, which is part of the washroom upgrades, as well as funding contributions for boat ramp improvements, and the new covered picnic shelter and picnic table.
